Good Three Month Job - Recruiter Jobspring Partners Employee Review

Pros

Jobspring Partners definitely teaches trainees a lot of different skills. I personally feel Jobspring is the reason why I sound razor sharp on the phone. The managers will never know who the trainees are speaking to on the phone. Some people in the office faked their phone calls to seem as though they are connecting with software engineers. Chances are slim managers will not contact the hiring manager to see if their trainee called. Jobspring offers a great three month job because everyone struggles the first few months. You are expected to sound awful on the phone since most trainees do not come from a technical background. After the three months, you are on your own. You must find your own candidates to bring in the office and leads.

Cons

Luck plays a huge role in this job. I remember my former coworker tenaciously call a hiring manager for weeks and somehow someone else on the team got them on first try. As part of a team every week any team member who received "ARPO" from a candidate is allotted a week to contact the hiring manager to introduce a more qualified candidate. This company encourages trainees to contact old candidates whose resumes are on file to 'check in on their job search' (which is JSP's way of saying "where and who have you interviewed with"). The worst part about ARPO is the recruiters can jeopardize the candidates chances of advancing in their interview process.

Pros

Young Money..... Get ready to make bank. Once you walk across the hot coals, you earn between 95 - 120K. The Crew...... There are no words. The most interesting, intelligent, & just plain fun people you will find. Happy hours, team nights, flip-cup in the office, black tie events, & a Halloween taken so seriously it's almost weird. No Red Tape..... Entrepreneurs & Innovators Welcomed That being said, full-desk is a difficult job. Not for the weak. The Training...... A 12 to 16 Month Sales Bootcamp. You will sweat. You will cry. But when it's all said and done, you come out a storm.

Cons

Rapid Growth and constant change. For some, this would be tough. Benefits.... Don't blow me away. Smile and Dial...... Happy Hunting. A blessing and a curse. You source and research your own leads, pick up your own clients, and cold call to get there. You learn to work smart and hard. Transparently, this is the most difficult part of our job. Once a recruiter masters this, they tend to take off.
