Pros

The team you work with will show you what collaboration and teamwork is. Office perks are nice.

They really care about their imagine over everything else. Despite the fact that there’s a plethora of upset support workers trying to get their voices heard, they’ll drown it out by shouting that they were named a Great Place To Work. Jobber is a great place to work if you’ve been there for years. You’ve already made friendly with the managers and people who matter, and you’ve grown with the structure of the company. If you’re new, consider it a stepping stone - especially in support. You will be overworked, under-appreciated and under supported in every way. Despite ramping up their accounts numbers and jamming client’s money into their greedy pockets, they made no attempt to hire more support workers for those accounts (and remember, those accounts came have up to and more than thirty people on each account, all able to call in with an issue!) and then lambast the Success team for not doing enough to keep clients happy. When you’re struggling to keep up with the insane queues and constant issues with the app and software, with zero support from managers who barely understand how the software works, you’re left to flounder while they clap themselves on the backs for a job well done when the team managers to drag themselves across their metric finish lines. This is a call centre and it’s not sold as one upon hiring. Sure, you get nice perks, and a decent enough starting wage, but the wage grid is flimsy and changes on a whim. With managers who spend more time passing the buck to senior members of the team than finding the answers themselves, it’s not a long term career position, and they make it clear how much they don’t care. Cheerleading from the sidelines and doing nothing to fix the root problems is about as useful as a screen door on a submarine. Will things change? Unlikely. If you need a gateway into the tech world and keep that mindset, you’ll be just fine.

- Leadership has ZERO strategy to compete against the other players in the market. - Way too many convoluted processes that slow everyone down - They will recruit you from another company and then let you go with absolutely no notice or reason

Cons

If you have strong sales experience, think carefully before joining. Inbound is a grind with inflated targets, low attainment, and compensation that doesn’t justify the workload. Most reps either quit or get pushed out quickly. The real surprise is when someone actually lasts. Morale is low, turnover is constant, and the pressure never stops. Management talks heavily about culture, but at the end of the day this is a compensation issue. Reps are expected to carry impossible numbers while being heavily micromanaged every step of the way. The company has a good product and some good people, but the sales structure feels designed around replacing reps rather than retaining them. Anyone who succeeds here long term has my respect. The environment is far tougher than leadership seems willing to admit.
