Worst Management, High Stress, and No Work-Life Balance - A Career Destroyer

Cons

JobTarget is a company plagued by poor management and an environment filled with stress and instability. They have gone through four rounds of layoffs, and it’s evident that the leadership has no clear direction or strategy. Employees are left in a constant state of uncertainty, with no support or clarity from management. Complaints to HR go unanswered, or worse, are met with retaliatory actions, including termination. The work-life balance is non-existent, and the atmosphere is toxic, making it impossible to grow or thrive professionally. Despite promises of visa sponsorships like H1B, the company operates in a shady and deceptive manner, leaving employees feeling betrayed and trapped. JobTarget lures people in with false assurances, only to subject them to a chaotic and unprofessional work environment. If you value your career and well-being, stay far away from this company. It’s a place that will only bring stress, disappointment, and a derailed career path.

Pros

Like any company there are some good, hardworking people there. Work is mostly remote allowing for pretty good work life balance

Cons

Just about everything else. Office politics and arbitrary decisions from up top seem to play a role in constant internal changes within the sales department. These changes effect room for meaningful promotion or even the ability to stay consistent in your current role. Management is entirely disorganized and communication is spotty/inconsistent. Product itself has its own issues, as does the internal software used to perform your job. The goal post is constantly being moved, commission structures altered etc. These factors and more combine to create an atmosphere that feels like a sinking ship that everyone is trying desperately to get off of.
