Pros

Friendly and collaborative colleagues; many technically skilled teammates to learn from (though a significant number of talented individuals have left).

Cons

- Poor work-life balance: Overtime and high-pressure culture are the norm. - Stagnant compensation: Raises are rare, minimal, or non-existent (unclear how Elastic’s acquisition will impact this). - Ineffective senior leadership: Some high-level principals contribute little beyond routine presence. - Toxic and micromanaging CEO: Applies intense pressure, obsesses over details, and lacks strategic vision. Frequently makes derogatory remarks about European countries and governments, damaging team morale. - Questionable retention tactics: High performers, especially at senior levels, are pushed out to avoid severance or retention bonuses. Top candidates are consistently offered below-market salaries. - Problematic behavior during acquisition: The leadership engaged in controversial actions to maximize personal gain during the Elastic acquisition. - Nepotistic and harsh management style: The CEO’s spouse is heavily involved in operations, exhibiting stingy and abrasive behavior. The CEO may function well as a technical lead but lacks the leadership, emotional intelligence, and judgment required for VP or CEO roles.

Pros

Smart colleagues. You can learn a lot from the engineers

Cons

Management is a mess. They have no idea where to go or get there. You can't bring your own ideas unless it's exactly what CEO wants. There is zero possibility for creative thinking. All business model is 'Guess CEO's mood and agree to it, if you disagree, leave'
