Pros
- spending some time with dogs - nice co workers - lots of exercise..
Cons
I did my job as well as I could.. staying well over my 8 hour shift in order to get the ridiculous amount of stuff done that they ask of you, absolutely no appreciation. I didn't mind the first few months working here... but it just goes down hill from there. I was a great employee and worked there for almost a year.. now it's a year later and I'm still upset about all the crap they put their employees through. - management is absolutely terrible. - except you to be way more involved in the company even when you aren't working.. messages at 10pm asking questions about work and you're always expected to answer.. it's a minimum wage job, no one wants to be that committed.. - terrible pay for the amount of physical labor - terrible scheduling (never getting what you want) - a huge part of the job is just cleaning, you're basically a glorified janitor - you're given way too much work to do in the amount of time your given - they don't like hiring/giving more people to work a shift in order to save money (its cheaper for them to pay your for 10 hours of work than to pay a whole other person for a shift) - absolutely no recognition for the amount of work we all had to do - dogs get very mediocre care.. average of 50 dogs and 2 people working at a time.. - i could honestly go on and on.. - 10/10 would recommend never wasting your time there - JUST SO DEGRADING AND TERRIBLE
