Pros
This is by far the best company I've ever worked for -- and I've worked at quite a lot of places! The pros really are too many to list, but I'll try -- everything from awesome and talented colleagues, challenging technical problems, cutting edge tech stack and freedom to tinker, weekly talks and random events, the amazing office on the Hudson river, to the free snacks and coffee. The executives are also unusually easy to access -- the CEO, Marc Lore, who is now also the head of eCommerce at Walmart, is just a dude in jeans who mostly just hangs around the (open plan) office next to everyone else.
I wish my personal situation could have allowed me to stay on for longer. Really miss this place.
Cons
There have been quite a few management shuffles since the acquisition. Although none of it has affected me or my team personally, I feel like the transparency around strategy and acquisition could be improved.
