- Can be fully remote for most employees across the US - Most people are nice - Salary and bonus is competitive, 401k employer matching - Good work life balance. bureaucratic environment = slow usually for IC work - SMBC funds us
Cons
- Lots of confusion about who owns what decisions, leads to tension across teams - Product vision is not clear, from what I know, it is not crazy or groundbreaking either - No use of public teams channels, everyone communicates in meetings or private group messages. Therefore it is very siloed work and its hard to know what people are doing - Getting to know team is up to each individual team, not a great work culture - No agenda for meetings, looks like they don't know how to manage remote work culture so they think more meetings is the answer
