Pros
Clean work area with good benefits, insurance, pto policy. Able to move up and receive extra certifications and training when interest is expressed. Able to learn and work in multiple areas to learn manufacturing processes of medical and electronic devices. Management is approachable and open to ideas to improve efficiency.
Cons
Have seen management promote friends over more qualified employees. Certain managers promoting friends first has caused dependable and very capable and knowledgeable employees to become discouraged to the point where they leave the company or start to become a negative influence due to feeling screwed over or cheated. Can take a while to be placed in a quality, solder, or lean manufacturing certification class.
