Pros
Easy access to freeway allowed for quick morning commute but getting back was a pain due to lights.
Cons
Engineering department was a joke. Was lead by a young engineer with very little experience and had no idea what he was doing. He maintained a list of "Short Timers" that was over 25 for the 5 or 6 years he had worked there. That should have been my first red flag as most engineers are easy to keep happy in a position. The engineering department had no clue how to properly design products utilizing any form of best practices for manufacturing nor did they listen to the feed back that production provided. They have no formal processes or historical understanding of the products. When asked about why certain items were designed that way no one in the company could informed me as why other than "that's the way its always been." The best day of that job was when we parted ways. I've moved on to a much better position which pays +35% more. After I left multiple other engineers that were hired around the same time I was left as well accounting for more than 50% of there mechanical engineers. All in all I would say avoid this company at all costs.
