Pros
Working with students and engaging in important work. My coworkers under the same program were amazing to work with as well.
Cons
Lack of communication from supervisors as well as from other staff. A couple of the staff members act quite cliquey and treat temp workers as illegitimate resulting in a feeling of unwantedness and tension. Supervisors also must set realistic goals and tasks. One of the worst parts of the job was getting asked to do x amount of tasks and midway through get assigned x amount more. This resulted in a scolding at the end of the day as it seemed like we didn't amount to much when in reality, we finished most of the tasks - it's very discourgaing. Also getting reprimanded for things out of our control; i.e., kids dropping the program and not letting us know or making an error due to miscommunication and conflicting advice between supervisors.
