Pros
Great pay, great organization. Believe in the IHAPI motto. Still have my card in my wallet, waiting on Carlton to ask me so I can quote the mission statement. Great training, one of the best companies I've ever worked for.
Cons
The downside is incompetent management at a lower level. I left my previous community in Viera to go part time at a new development in Melbourne. The manager was in training with me at the same time, and struggled to operate the software in the beginning. I joined her team after having a successful run with my community in Viera, and keeping the place occupied. Once I joined the team at the new community in Melbourne things began to fall a part. For one I worked for no commission, because I'm not money motivated, and I wanted to prove my loyalty. Averaging 5 to 7 leases over the weekend. Got behind on some paperwork because of my light schedule, and my teammates weren't interested in being a team. They helped each other write leases and move in residents. My work load stacked up against me, and maybe because they didn't like that I had all the leases and no one was getting the money, or because I was the only man, or my disability, or race. Not sure, however I came in on my day off to move in a resident that they refused to help me with. Show up and he's already moved in, and no communication. I left and went home since it was my day off, and the manager emailed coffee teeth and told her I walked out on my job. I'm sorry but I'm already working for no commission. I'm not going to work for free either.
