Pros

I've been with the company for almost a year and a half now and it's been the best work experience I've ever had. JMF is a company that is currently going through a lot of growth. A big part of that stems from the principal of the company, Jeffrey Fish. He is constantly juggling multiple projects and always looking for the next opportunity. This also relates to personnel; he tries to find intelligent, capable people and presents them with the chance to grow. In my short time here, I've been promoted and gotten pay increases (without asking for them!). I just put my head down and work hard, and he recognizes and appreciates that. The flip side is that he has a low tolerance for lazy or asinine employees. They don't last in the company so it's nice to be surrounded by other hard working, smart people. JMF offers the typical benefits: medical, dental, vision. However, there are extras; thanks to Jeffrey, I've gone to more LA Dodgers games than I have my whole life!

Cons

I'm always on call and can't ever put my phone down, but that's a part of being in property management.

Pros

Tons of growth opportunities; hard work is seen and pays off; Management is very hands-on and involved; the CEO is extremely knowledgeable and experienced, listens to his staff, and is open to new ideas; great work environment and cool perks.

Cons

Long hours - not a con for me personally, but some people might find this a bit challenging.

Pros

Was with the firm for a little shy of 3 years. Learned alot about real estate. If you excel at what you do, opportunities are given.

Cons

There are some inefficiencies that exist due to the fact the firm is smaller in size. Small but solid.
