Pros
Gives employees a free macbook, very flexible schedules for part-time employees, and often has free snacks in the office.
Cons
The management tries to stay very friendly but does not value their employees. There is an incredibly high turnover rate for regular employees though a very small number (about 3-4) have stayed consistent. I often found myself often working on projects that seemed more designed to trick the customer than to delight them despite any attempt at positive wording by the owner.
While working, I would often find myself needing to either pretend to be busy or find busy-work even if I had completed everything they could think of for me to do, because they were extremely displeased by having an employee not working. The owner also often looks over the shoulders of his employees constantly, leading to a Panopticon level of discomfort at times.
Getting time off for full-time employees was usually more of a hassle as well. Employees would have to bargain to come in and work other times to make up for it instead of management being understanding if the work was already complete, or ahead-of-schedule.
Also, it is highly likely based on my previous experience with them that any reviews that are entirely positive are created by management.
