Pros

I Honestly Don't know what to say here. How sad is that? But I am just being honest.

Cons

Even though I am a Full Time Employee I am not guaranteed Full Time Hours This Week, As I am an Hourly Employee If I don't work I don't get paid. There is NO set schedule. I have to check a website each night including Saturday night at 630 pm or later to see if I am working the following day. If I am scheduled to work there is no set time to come in and you never know what time you are getting off work. This makes it hard to make any plans or have a personal life. They do not pay anything towards health care. They do not have any paid holidays. More times then not you dont get to have lunch or a break when you are working. There is really NO room for advancement.

JK Moving Services Response

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Due to the nature of the moving industry, hours may vary week to week. In 2014, JK's full-time hourly employees averaged 39 hours per week. Also, our flexible work schedules let us accommodate different employee needs. The website allows employees to check their schedule at their convenience. In terms of benefits, employees are provided with paid leave, with the amount of paid leave increasing with tenure. JK also contributes to the healthcare coverage premium for our two plans - 50% toward the PPO premium and 75% of the High Deductible plan. Lastly, JK encourages employee growth and frequently hires from within. All open positions are posted on our website and on electronic bulletin boards in the break rooms. Since January, JK has been pleased to fill 7 positions by promoting existing employees into roles of higher accountability.
