Pros

being well-connected can significantly increase the likelihood of securing a job or promotion. This informal network can provide a sense of job security for those closely associated with key figures within the company.

Cons

Working at JFrog has been disappointing due to its poor culture, excessive control, and neglect for employees' well-being. Employees often feel like their opinions don't matter as decisions are made without consulting them. Managers constantly hover over employees, micromanaging their every move and creating a suffocating work environment. There's a lack of trust in employees' abilities, making it difficult for them to work independently. Vacation days are limited, leaving employees feeling overworked and unappreciated. Junior employees are often belittled and their ideas disregarded, hindering collaboration and innovation. Changes in strategy are implemented without proper communication, causing confusion and instability within the company. Many employees feel frustrated but don't know where to turn for help, exacerbating their sense of disempowerment. HR appears oblivious to these issues, ignoring complaints and fostering a culture of fear where employees are afraid to speak up. JFrog is not recommended for those who prefer autonomy, value their well-being, and seek a supportive work environment.

Pros

Great People - You can rely on your coworkers Great Culture - Everyone has a go getter attitude, very willing to help. Fun and frequent work events Great Compensation - Market rates + RSUs Lots of room to grow - Company is growing, offers and supports moving up and even transitions roles Work life balance - Work life balance is good Training - lots of time to ramp up. Very surprised and impressed by how much time they give you to get ready to work on your own. Challenging - This might be a negative for some people, but the work is challenging, a lot is expected of you.

Cons

Not too many cons from my perspective. Probably the best corporate job I've ever had. Training - While I mentioned this as a pro. I felt the training was long and difficult to retain. Most of the learning comes from doing your job Challenging work, but if you can hang with it. It is very rewarding
