      Pros

      The most significant pro about working at J. C. Penney was the relaxed environment. I came in before the store opened, did my own thing, got my work done. Loved it.

      Cons

      The customers were the major con about working at J. C. Penney. Sometimes they were great and other times they just complained about something I couldn't help them with.

      Laid back work, nice people to work with.

      Sales driven. There doesn't seem to be much training on how they want the cashiers to do their job.

      easy job, slow most of the time, need to be able to find things to do to keep busy

      Cons

      when its slow you are barely scheduled for hours, need to get credit card applications
