Pros
Lead experts that are left even though have their hours cut, more work piled on, still try hard to keep their teams in cheerful moods when possible. Discount is decent, and associate coupons WERE nice. Flexible with schedule (thankfully) makes easier to give away/switch shifts.
Cons
You can do your supervisor's JOB, but when asked to be promoted told NO, employees spread too thin, hours cut drastically, if you make over 9.50/hr expect no hours because the schedule goes with cheap non effiecient employees first. No morale, no effective communication about policies I.e. adjustments, returns without reciept, discounts for 'subpar' merchandise. No compassion for associates. Since wage cuts associates now bicker about who got more vs friendly when do I see you. Constant worry about autotermination for people who are never scheduled even though available all the time. Closings are long and hard, can work 3 to 1130 get lunch and if your lucky one break instead of two, and that's during non peak seasons. Don't think about being sick cause call out once and the next week all hours are stripped away, and that's with a doctors note. Also you can be top within the company within an aspect of the job, and they still give you no hours even though apparrently that's what the schedule leans towards. We "realigned" positions and let go of great management, only to wind up wit poor management left that CONSISTENTLY calls out, never shows up, is put out to help, takes their anger out towards associates with CUSTOMER questions...our so called leadership doesn't lead... I could keep going about cons...
