Pros

A lot of change at JC Penneys. As of late the new lines of items and items that are short runs. So ever changing with the trends. This even happens in the Fine Jewelry. They are making advancements in price of the items to a real value, however to keep there profit margins, they have reduced the staff and management. Soon it will be like shopping at a mid or high end walmart. Great items and price, but no help or customer service.

Cons

Reduction in staff with a trend in limited customer service. No real guidance for the customer in purchasing. Limited number of associates to help, more of a self serve like walmart.

Pros

If you like working early morning hours and getting off early in the afternoon (which I do) this is a great part-time job. I was a college student when I worked here so it worked perfectly with my schedule. The pay is pretty decent and the people you work with are friendly.

Cons

Only real downside is that it's retail. You're going to run into some rude customers from time to time. There's always work to do and not enough time given to do it sometimes. But as long as you work hard and managers see that you're trying your best there isn't too much pressure put on you.
