Once promising, now struggling with poor management and favoritism - Sales J2 Sourcing Employee Review

Majority of the staff below management are fun and kind people so often the colleagues will support each other through hardships.

If you are liked by an individual in management (which 98% of them have never changed) since the business started, you will be saved from the so called "redundancy" process which happens every 1-2 years. Founder is "not involved" but runs behind the scenes. CEO's have changed multiple times but the core business is run via the same management team that have old values which never change... Business strategies are always the unthinkable with always low on cash input for no development available for staff but "do the job" attitude. Issues that happen between employees (serious cases) will never be supported by management as none of them like confrontation therefore staff motivation declines with increasing frustration and anger. To add - there is no kollektivavtal.

The people make the place. Truly great colleagues who are supportive and fun to work with. Friday breakfasts are a nice touch and give a good social start to the day. If you’re into sales, it’s a highly sales-driven environment—targets, growth, and energy are always on the table.

The sales team often distances themselves from responsibility, regularly saying things like “I’m sales, that’s not my job”, which can make collaboration difficult and frustrating—especially when management tends to back them regardless. The work becomes repetitive fast. You’re often doing the same tasks over and over again, which can feel monotonous and unchallenging over time. Entry-level salaries are worryingly low, especially considering how much responsibility juniors can have. Meanwhile, there are significant pay gaps that don’t always reflect performance or contribution. After the acquisition of BC, the company lost much of its flexibility—the very thing that made J2 Sourcing such a unique and attractive place to work. It now feels more like you’re working for the system, rather than the system working for you. There's a lot more red tape and admin-heavy processes.
