Pros

- Good experience if you like working with kids - Good experience if you like ABA

Cons

- extremely stressful environment. if you're in endeavors (which most of the instructors are) the classrooms are loud, chaotic, high chance of aggression from the students you're working with or from others. - Very low pay for the strain and expectations put on you. They tout "benefits" but most of that will go to your insurance/healthcare rather than take home pay. - From what I heard for the short time I was there, it takes a LONG time to move up the ladder. - (personally speaking) I had several anxiety and stress attacks as a result of this job. if you aren't someone who truly loves the idea of special ed or ABA or if you're apprehensive/uncertain as to whether this field is for you, do not work here.

Pros

I have loved working with the children here over the last five years! As a mother myself, the pediatric population is incredibly close to my heart. I am so grateful for the flexible scheduling that allowed me to be home whenever my own kids were off from school.

Cons

The benefits package could be improved by offering better health insurance and expanded maternity leave. We should also observe Veterans Day as a paid day off to support our veteran coworkers.
