Pros

Learning on the technology side is really good for young engineers. Unlike other companies, engineers get to work on technologies end-to-end. People development is very good. Esp. in terms exposure to handling pressure, high-value projects, managing people, interacting across different teams. And engineers who think that you cannot go anywhere with the skills you pick up at Ittiam, think again! You are being myopic if you think you cannot!

Cons

The complexity of projects on the business front is less, unlike larger corporates. Not for the light-hearted. Get in if you want to do serious work and be focused while at it. And don't mind stretching at the cost of personal life. Because the company is cost focused, some of the perks available in other companies is lacking - good transport, in-house cafeteria, work from home. Gender balance can actually be an issue! Most tech companies today have a good percentage of female employees.

Pros

The team I worked with was great and supportive. They worked on interesting projects and let me contribute to the final product.

Cons

I don't really see much of a con in this company. Very satisfactory.

Pros

Work that you do is good and covers a wide range. You get to design, implement, test, talk to customers, participate in planning and so on. Motive behind decisions are very transparent. Highest level management very approachable and understanding of employee's problems. Doing multiple things in parallel is good in a way that you'll learn how to balance work and life. Having said all that work/life balance for me was good. But, there were people who would struggle with this. It could just be the team or a problem with their planning. It really isn't easy to say which one of them is the reason.

Cons

Doing multiple things in parallel is bad in a way because you cover width and covering something in-depth will require focus from your own side. Work culture was good in one of the teams I worked in. But, overall, its kind of pathetic. People don't say no to work even though it isn't possible and start cribbing behind. How about a little honesty. Lot of people just fool around during the day and stay late to finish up which kind of screws up the dynamics of the work culture.
