Pros
- Great team, the company manages to attract great talent - Good opportunities for sideways progression - Good insight into the way a global company is run - The company in Dublin is small so making change is possible, less red tape than in the US
Cons
- Huge turnover in the marketing team, I was there for over 1.5 years and there was over 100% turnover in the team in Dublin - Out of hours work is expected and unrewarded i.e. launch calls at 9pm on Saturday night, 17 hour days at events but unpaid - Reactive strategy, unclear direction, unclear budgets - The marketing department is entirely process driven, little room for creativity - Unpleasant atmosphere to work in, low moral, low energy, atmosphere of fear
