You must be self-motivated to succeed. A good skill to develop, if you don't have it already. If you are an associate, one drawback (or plus depending on how you look at it) is many of your friendships will become re-framed and redefined, since there is often no boundary between "work" and "life". As I said in the Pros, the people working here are gems, so having them as friends is definitely a great thing in my experience.
