For a position as a co-op student, I feel there are no cons

interesting work, continuous learning could happen, pay can be decent, some flexibility in the work, work from home office (both a blessing and a curse)

Not many avenues for advancement. There is a need to ensure you have things in writing. Corporate is utterly oblivious to workplace cultures outside their own offices, and US leadership does not employ a "hands off" approach
