Along with new management crew that lacked diversity in thoughts, a men-boys club with limited to no understanding of product led growth yet beats the drums about shifting to product led. Instead of assessing whether the existing exec team is match fit, removing just a single c-suite with fairly disrespectful explanation to internal people, that probably also didn’t fit into your “love working with younger people” criteria… Removal those LT+1 leader in prior org structure, the change agents that have faced into difficult conversations - agitated positive change, made material impact, created value to Iress. Ironically the kind of talent you need in times like this, but they were thrown under the bus by whoever got in your ears first. Opaque promotion of people with no merit or relevant experience. Such as the prior group CFO who facilitated hairy back forecasts with no real understanding of software… now running one of the key business units as CEO.
