Pros

Nothing beats a school schedule. You get every holiday off, less hours during the summer, and plenty of time to get things done during the day after work since school hours allow that. Invo has lots of opportunities for further growth and learning, and it's relatively easy to get extra support and help and advice if needed. And overall, it's a pretty chill job, I never feel micromanaged or anything like that. There's a lot of freedom & flexibility to choose who you want to work with, where you want to be located, and stuff like that, and it's also very very easy to take time off work if needed. Invo will almost always allow RBTs to take time off whenever they want. Invo also has a referral program which is a good way to make a little extra money, however, every year the referral bonus decreases. 2 years ago, it was $1500 if you referred someone to work for Invo, this year it was $500. Invo also offers a sign-on bonus, sometimes, however, the amount for that has also decreased significantly every year. My first year with Invo I was offered a sign on bonus of $1500, but this past year my resign on bonus was only $250. Kinda a bummer. Invo offers several benefits including health/dental insurance, retirement plans, and stuff like that. And it's optional so if you have other coverage, you don't have to use Invo's. Another benefit is a $500 stipend to buy materials or supplies for work - I love that perk, personally...

Cons

Despite the school schedule being awesome, one downfall to it is, because this is an hourly position, you don't get paid during the times off - such as spring break, Hawaiian holidays, winter break, etc. It's nice to have the time off however, it's difficult for some people because that means they are not making money. Another con is that I truly feel like RBTs deserve to be paid more. I think they all should make at least $40-45 an hour - being an RBT is a very mentally taxing job, plus, the cost of these services are over $100/hr, so why are RBTs making any less than half of that ? I don't think it is fair. The pay is good, but not good enough for what RBTs endure during work, and I think they all deserve to be paid more. Invo never really does any team building or events except for one in the winter, a holiday party, that most people aren't able to make anyways. I wish Invo did more social things so we could meet and get to know other RBTs in the area who work for Invo. Another con is the decrease in bonuses every year - each year they decrease every single bonus which is such a bummer. My first year with Invo I was offered a sign on bonus of $1500, but this past year my resign on bonus was only $250. 2 years ago, the referral bonus was $1500 or $2000 (I cannot remember exactly, but it was a lot) if you referred someone to work for Invo, but this year it was $500. Also a bummer.

Pros

Working in early intervention is a joy in and of itself, but having the support of my area manager makes it even better.

Cons

I do not really have any.

Pros

Remote work flexibility and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in students’ lives.

Cons

Very high-pressure environment with clear favoritism and little accountability. Issues that are escalated are often ignored. Leadership turnover is constant (I had eight managers), which makes it difficult to succeed or feel supported. The culture can be cutthroat—placements and candidates are taken, and collaboration is minimal. There have also been inappropriate comments made by managers without consequence, and leadership often seems disengaged in meetings and 1:1s.
