Pros
I started at Invictus in late September of 2022. My first week was definitely tough getting used to a new and unconventional work environment. I wasn’t used to showing up to work in the morning around people who were actually excited to be there. The energy was definitely something i had to grt used to but eventually learned to love. I was not a natural in the “field” at first to be honest i was actually terrible. After a couple weeks however i started to get the hang of it. Having now gone through the entire training process from start to finish outlined in the interview process, i would like to provide some insight to those who may be curious. It was challenging every step of the way. It was the first thing i had ever committed to outside of sports in my entire life. I had never put this much effort in to a job/career before. Time and energy was spent, there were days i was felt tired, days where i felt unmotivated and days where that i simply just had to get through. But what i started to realize through that process was how I was getting stronger as an individual. My communication skills were being sharpened, my confidence started to grow, my people skills become stronger then they have ever been before. Being surrounded by people who genuinely wanted to see me succeed motivated me to want to become an even better version of myself. Ive seen people throughout my time talk bad about the business and say things about how its not real or that its a scam. Simply because it did not work out for them. Because they were unable to do the work required to succeed. No knock to anyone who it didn’t work out for, but as someone who actually went through the process and dealt with everything the average person would complain about, i can honestly say that this business is nOt for the average person. It is for someone who genuinely has ambition. Someone who wants something more then just working 9-5 for someone else until their 60 years old. Someone who wants to be a part of a small percent of people who actually have control over there professional and financial lives. I am in a better place then i have ever been in my life. Invictus has helped me accomplish that. Was it hard? YES. Was it worth it YES. Everyone has the right to their own opinion, which i respect. However my one piece of advice for anyone who is coming here for looking for feedback on the company, dont just look at the people talking bad about it who it didn’t work out for, look at some of the people who it did work out for and listen to what they have to say too. There are 2 sides to every narrative. I encourage everyone to see both sides and make their own decisions based on the logic the find. All in all my experience working for invictus has been one for the books and if i could do it all again id do it in a heart beat.
Cons
U will have to commit more time than the average job (kind of necessary when were talking about going from entry level to running a company in a little over a year but what do i know)
Sometimes it rains
You will have to learn to take rejection with a smile.
You cant be ok with Average.
You actually have to be happy at work (soooo terrible lmao)
