Pros

InvenTel provides an excellent environment for applied AI work, offering meaningful projects, modern tools, and a leadership team that truly supports experimentation and innovation. Cross-functional collaboration is smooth, deadlines are realistic, and team communication is clear. I have consistent access to the resources I need, and management actively encourages continuous learning and professional growth.

Cons

The only challenge is that some processes are still evolving as the AI division expands, which can sometimes require extra coordination. However, these are normal growing pains and continue to improve over time.

Pros

Inventel bought out our company for pennies on the dollar when our future was questionable (meati- feel free to look up)

Cons

CEO Yasir Abdul spoke a good game initially but disappeared entirely once the preliminary purchase went through. Spoke badly about employees in an all-hands meeting, forced leadership to do a 7th round of layoffs, wouldn’t approve purchases for ingredients required for operations (required for running), didn’t show up to meetings where his direction was needed in order to move forward, stopped all capital projects, required reformulation of a previously clean label product to make it cheaper so he could see more profit from it. CEO has no background in food or food manufacturing and this was abundantly clear in the way he “ran” the company. The Inventel leadership team eventually went radio silent for weeks at a time, stopped paying the employees, stopped paying bills in attempt to force the city to sell him the building. After months of this “leadership”, Inventel officially acquired the company on Friday 10/31 and laid off all but a handful of folks on Tuesday 11/4. Final paycheck wasn’t sent until 12/24, and we are still waiting for our 401k contributions to be added properly. The remaining folks who had been retained to keep an eye on the building were laid off in December after the city evicted Inventel for not paying water/electricity bills.
