Pros

Intuit really is full of good people. I had the chance to work with some of the kindest, smartest and most emotionally intelligent teammates I’ve ever met. There’s a genuine culture of care, and that shows up in the way people collaborate, give feedback, and support each other through change. It always felt like there was space to be human, not just a worker, which made a huge difference in how I showed up every day. The company really puts effort into building a values-led culture, and even when things weren’t perfect, the intention to do better was there. Leadership was open to feedback and consistently tried to listen and improve. I also really appreciated the flexibility and understanding from my team and managers, especially when life was unpredictable or things got hard. That level of trust and empathy isn’t something I take for granted. Overall, Intuit felt like a place where I could grow, both personally and professionally, and where I knew I was surrounded by people who genuinely cared. I left with a lot of respect for the culture, and some really meaningful friendships I’ll always value.

Cons

While my experience at Intuit was mostly really positive, there were a few challenges that stood out. One was a pattern of micromanagement from higher levels of leadership directed at team leaders. This often put pressure on managers and created a bit of a ripple effect for team members, it sometimes led to a lack of autonomy or added stress that didn’t always feel necessary. I saw some really capable leaders have less room to lead in the way they knew was best for their teams. There were also moments where it felt like expectations weren’t being applied consistently. Things like punctuality or willingness to support other teams seemed to vary depending on the person, which could be frustrating at times and sometimes impacted team morale. That said, these issues were relatively small in the bigger picture, and often felt like the exception rather than the rule. I still felt supported by my direct team, and the overall culture leaned toward kindness, growth and care. My time at Intuit was filled with more good than bad, and I genuinely left feeling grateful for the people and the experience.
