Pros

You may be able to work from home during snow storms or when an emergency calls for it.

Cons

Your boss /supervisor/account manager will always try to micromanage you , even though work hours are 8:30 to 4:30 pm. they will want to slave you, no kidding!! If you don't work up until 7 or 8 at night every day it will become an issue as your manager is actually one of the company owners and she thinks not having a life outside work is ok. Constantly losing valuable employees due to crappy salary and the way this woman treats people. Passive aggressive emails but don't try to complain because she's actually Human Resources also.

Pros

Small company, really takes care of its employees. Monday through Friday 6am start leave at 230. Very friendly schedule. Weekends always off unless overtime which is never mandatory.

Cons

Management is not on my site so communication can be difficult since it is all done through email. Very rare you'll need their assistance however.

Pros

Small company -- you will get to know all of your coworkers and management is accessible. If you have a good idea you will be listened to and given the chance to run with it. The company has several high-profile clients so you quickly gain valuable experience with plenty of resume building potential. Flexible -- working from home and taking days off isn't difficult Great company outings/parties; you will get drunk, have fun and eat good food.

Cons

Limited growth potential -- most management positions occupied by owners/family members Pay is on the lower end of the scale; employees have to pay quite a bit for health insurance Office location is less than ideal but there is plenty of employee parking which is practically unheard of in Boston. Office dress code (business casual) despite the fact that the office seldom hosts visitors from outside the company.
