Pros

- Flexible hours (min 7.5 hours/37.5 hrs per week) - Variety of snacks available in the kitchen to all staff. - Most employees are easy to get along with. - Fun work, for the most part. - Great entry level position - gained a lot of experience right out of school.

Cons

- Inconsistent management between departments. Some department leads let some things slide, while others are much too overbearing. Some are very distant, while others are too involved. - Inconsiderate management (moving the office around the downtown core, or even out of it - making it difficult for those who commute by GO train to get to/from work) - Management is favourable toward certain employees (preferential treatment is very obvious). - Poor treatment and acknowledgement of employees. No "thank you's" where deserved. - High turnover rate among employees that is seemingly dismissed among management. Perhaps try to find out why people keep leaving, and it's not uncommon for employees to stay for approximately a year. - There is a severe lack of CLEAR policies (sick days, vacation days) or policies at all (bereavement). Any policies in place aren't necessarily followed strictly. - The company is heavily relied upon the honour system for employee time which works in most cases, but allows for people to take advantage of the situation.

Pros

- no set work schedule (min 7.5hrs/day) - amazing staff/ team - most management is helpful with any concerns you have - if you feel like you would like to take on more responsibility it is often given - if you wish to change roles within the company it is often allowed (as long as you have the needed requirements)

Cons

- depending on who you report to, you may not ever get to talk to your manager leaving issues unresolved and up in the air for long period of time - you can work late hours, take on multiple job titles and work 150%, but at your annual review (for merit increase) you will only go up 3-4% (unless you are a developer) - even with a 3-4% salary increase, you are likely making far less than industry standard - preferential treatment towards development staff as apposed to admin staff - misleading job titles (you will be hired for a junior role and made to do the work of someone with senior responsibility; while only being paid junior wages - no real job descriptions - no sense of job security regardless of how good a job you are doing

Pros

* The office is right downtown by the eaton centre. * Some people there are really nice and friendly.

Cons

* Lot of unpaid overtime * Sometimes asked to work on weekends or pull one-nighters to finish projects (!) * Employees are tricked in working more as the boss sometimes creates fake deadlines to increase productivity * Old technologies and a lot of bureaucracy to get anything done. * Very low salaries
