Pros

They claim to have great benefits, but just like everything else at Intiva, those benefits are not as great as they look from the outside. The 6 weeks of PTO originally seemed like a lot, but as others have mentioned, a vast majority of that time will be docked for things like being 1 minute late (you will lose 15 minutes of PTO). A few months they incorporated yoga once a week, which seemed shocking and also generous. However, after a few weeks of the yoga program, they decided that if you partake in yoga, you could not take a lunch that day. Additionally, another perk they claim is free lunch every Friday. However, that is not the case. Sometimes it will be every Friday, sometimes it will be one Friday out of the month.

Cons

Leadership is what I would equate to the blind leading the blind. People literally looked, and were, miserable from the time that they walked through the doors in the morning, until the time when they exited them in the evening. The CEO would constantly berate people and claim that "God only cares about 3 types of people - drunks, fools, and me". Essentially, he made all of his employees, including the few who really went the extra mile, feel expendable. On many occasions, he would walk around the open office shouting and cursing, which made for a very hostile environment. It was, by far, the poorest and least professional working environment that I have ever experienced in my adult career.

Thank you for your feedback. Our culture, procedures, strategy and the like are not for everyone. Most of our team members spend the majority of their 6 weeks PTO at their full discretion as it is very important to us that however employees choose to allocate their time off is entirely up to them. There is no need to ask permission, if you have the banked PTO, you earned it and it's up to you how and when it should be used! In fact, if you chose to be 15 minutes late every single work day of the year, you would still have nearly 4.5 weeks of PTO left over to use any other way that makes sense for your lifestyle. Yoga is great! I participate as often as I can and it's fun to see the team improve week to week. We are bonding, laughing, and growing as a group which is a blast! We ask that team members be conscious of the hour to hour and a half spent on yoga and grab a short lunch on those days. Participation is not mandatory, so if taking a normal hour lunch for errands or to eat is more important than yoga that day than by all means go for it. We do have paid company lunches most Fridays. Some of our regular favorites are Chi'lantro (yum!), Jimmy John's, Chik-fil-a, Jason's Deli, Soup Peddler, and Barley Bean. Since January, we have increased our conference attendance in order to focus on promoting Intiva Token and the platform worldwide. Admittedly, we missed a few Fridays due to team members being out of office or away on conferences, but this is certainly not the norm. We use this time to discuss updates in the company, celebrate wins, communicate losses, and hone our trivia skills! All that said, Intiva Health is creating a platform that does not exist in the market. We are marrying cutting edge technologies (like Hashgraph) and healthcare. We want to achieve things that are far beyond mediocre and to do that requires grit, determination, and perseverance. I would encourage anyone who is considering a position with us to count the cost of investment to a company like ours. We are a results oriented company with real customers and users that deserve our best day in and day out. If we can continue to provide our best, every single individual here will experience significant benefit in experience and financial reward. Please do not work in ANY environment where you feel invaluable or demeaned. We have come so far because of a great strategy and more importantly a great team to execute and improve on that strategy.

Pros

The biggest pro of working at Intiva Health is the people that you get to work with. All of the employees at Intiva Health are so welcoming and friendly. The benefits and pay are also outstanding! You get 6 weeks of PTO, paid holidays, paid health insurance, 401(k), and an ESOP. The work itself is great and I feel encouraged and supported to make any suggestions that may improve my department or the company as a whole. All employees understand what the mission of the company is and it is nice that we are all working together to accomplish this.

Cons

I cannot think of any cons at this time.
