Female Intern - Anonymous employee International Employee Review

Most employees are sexist. I was the only female intern at the time, and I was assigned to do clerk work instead of engineering like the male interns got to do. Everyone was also very negative, so much so that people would ask me if I was new “because I still looked happy”. On my very first day I had a man tell me, “Navistar does have a sexual assault policy, but things work a little bit differently here”. He was offering assistance in case anyone messed with me, but it wasn’t very encouraging. The work environment seemed very toxic, and I will not be returning.
