Pros

RRSP Matching Location to major transit hub

Cons

This company used to be great and it has since the new CEO’s arrival, gone downhill. The management believes its a technology company but this company is full of leadership from the banks. They are trying to speed up like a tech startup with the culture and bureaucracy of the big banks that own it. The focus is on making things shiny rather than focus of the internal processes/ technology. The executive team is sleep walking into a disaster. Top talent is leaving. The townhalls are all about show and pomp and the exec leadership is the only one looking happy in those sessions. Also, there is no opportunity to grow here. They flattened the org to the point that high performers can get stuck in their role for years out. Restructuring is the solution applied every 1 years in different teams in the name of agility and efficiency. The ADAPT transformation was the most mishandled transformation and it has lead to overwork and burnout due to constantly changing direction from the leadership. This company still has a great brand which attracts talent but you only see the mess it is when you join. The culture of the company has gone downhill and the focus is only a “Yes” culture. Unreasonable targets also ensure nothing can be met and everything is a priority.

Pros

Brand Name/Events / Benefits Plan

Cons

Restructuring and layoffs every year...Unplanned decisions even restructuring teams back to original way of reporting resulting in frequent firing and layoffs...Toxic middle level managers and highly political environment..be ready to have escalations on minor issues...instead of working together teams shift blames on each other ..You have to watch your back constantly...E.g Thrown in projects without any knowledge transfer and expected to excel from day one else will be escalated...Personal ego of Middle Managers takes precedence over Talent and Results..
