Pros

There is none pros to mention.

Cons

Very toxic work environment. In the first month of my employment, I have seen five employees left the organization with short notice and kept counting. I also have seen donors cancelled projects for poor quality and below standard services. Really cruel management who only cares about the donation they receive from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation than any thing else, not about their employees and their families or the quality of their services. My advise for potential employees is think thoroughly and do your due diligence before deciding to join this organization.

Pros

The work and research team are amazing! If you like international research and problem solving, it is just the place. The research team there is great to work with and very collaborative. You get exposure to some very big names in the research world and are encouraged to take ownership of your work products, no matter how big or small. That is, if you can tolerate the other aspects.

Cons

The company structure is pretty broken. There isn't much of a company left. There is little room for advancement, the pay is not up to par with other institutions (and definitely not competitive), and very little communication is given about the well-being of the organization. The small company is run by a board, who is absent nearly 100 percent of the time. Inter-company communication is passive aggressive and non-research team members like to instill hideous levels of bureaucracy in a company of less than 25 employees.
