Pros

I can't think of any pros. I would give them zero stars if it were an option.

Cons

They received my background check, continued to work on my onboarding. A month later they were concerned about something on the background check they were previously aware of, was a decade old, and was resolved (a misdemeanor). Then they sent a notice saying they might rescind my job offer. They said I needed to respond within 5 days, never told me how to respond or who to respond to. Then they sent a letter saying they were rescinding my job offer. I asked for clarification, and they said we actually haven't decided, we don't know what that letter said, ignore that letter. Then a few days later, they re-sent the letter saying oops we actually are going with that letter's determination. No apologies for the confusion, no explanation whatsoever. On the same day that they rescinded the job offer, I was still receiving documents from credentialing to sign and return.

Pros

InterMed genuinely cares about their employees. They want us happy and healthy and go to great lengths to achieve this. If it’s not the CEO of the company, personally pushing around a coffee cart for employee appreciation events….its goat yoga or food trucks.

Cons

At times staffing can be a challenge, but I feel like that has always been an issue as a Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant. Often times, staff that are sent to locations as “floats” (to cover sick calls etc,) take on the attitude that it’s not truly their site, and therefore they don’t really have to work. It’s super frustrating.
