Pros

As an employee for many years, InterDev has allowed me to really explore every facet of working in technology; meaning you are free to explore the path that suits you best. While no organization is without their flaws, I still like coming to a place where I feel I can make a direct contribution to the organization every day. Being a small business, we're agile and can make quick adjustments. It also lends itself to having strong relationships with colleagues because "we're in it together". We've been through a significant amount of change over the last year - and that is a good thing - we are now getting set to be able to grow at a greater scale. I'm excited about our potential.

Cons

Being a small business, we sometimes lack maturity around business processes which means you may have to "wear more than one hat" at times, but you're never left on an island - someone will always offer to help. We are occasionally our own worst enemy.

Pros

It's a great company and leadership.

Cons

We are an MSP, and the clients hired us by contract, so when the client's contract ends if they don't renew it, your employee's contract might end, too.

Pros

None that justify the experience.

Cons

The company has no clear strategy and operates in a reactive, disorganized manner. There are too many managers and not enough leadership, resulting in unnecessary bureaucracy and constant confusion, while accountability is largely absent. Communication is consistently poor, expectations are unclear, information is siloed, and changes are often communicated late or not at all. Poor management decisions are common, and employees are left to deal with the fallout. The C‑suite demonstrates a clear lack of competence and effectiveness, which is reflected in frequent turnover of both clients and employees, customers regularly leaving, and an overall sense that the business is unstable and in decline. The HR function is particularly ineffective, providing little support to employees and frequently mishandling basic responsibilities.
