Bullies aren’t just teenagers in high school.
They are also adults in offices with nice titles who think they have the right to break the spirits of others so they can feel better about their miserable lives. I went into that job expecting professionalism, teamwork, and basic respect, only to find that some people use their positions to intimidate, belittle, and tear others down. It wasn’t about performance or growth — it was about control. Watching adults with authority act like insecure high school bullies was honestly shocking. They hid behind titles and policies while slowly chipping away at confidence and morale, all to make themselves feel powerful or important. It was exhausting, disheartening, and a painful experience. Even after leaving- former coworkers have reached out to me telling me how they still talk about people, including myself though I’m gone in a very awful way.
