Pros

Great entry level job for those who just graduated from an ABA program and want to get hands on experience working as a case supervisor. The company owners and humans resource personnel are very friendly and approachable and are always willing to consider changes that can positively benefit both the employees and company. Company owners truly care about employees and work/life balance.

Cons

Clinical supervisors do not have much knowledge/experience in the field so it can be hard getting supervion and help with difficult cases. Clinical supervisors do not also provide very much support to BIDs/Case Managers so it can be hard for an entry level employee to grow in the field. Because it is a small office, there are also not various professional growth opportunities and career advancement opportunities.

Pros

Good experience to work in schools Stable job if your assigned kid is not chronically absent. Okay experience but you don’t do a lot of ABA therapy.

Cons

Very underpaying. You do not get any holiday pay during Winter or Spring breaks. Not qualified for unemployment benefits. Supervisors can be hit or miss. Some will be supportive and others are unsupportive. Support from school staff can be a gamble You get paid more working with teenagers as hours are longer. Subbing is required but they don’t reimburse you for mileage if going from home to another school. No pay raise, even when they promise to raise it after 60 hrs of training. Pay raise is at their own discretion or if you work in the office. One of the most underpaying agencies contracted by LAUSD. Understaffed and will guilt trip you for using your PTO
