Don't expect to stay past your one year mark. - Engineer Intellihot Employee Review

Pros

Smaller company, so you get to fill many roles and gain a wide breadth of experience in a short amount of time

Cons

Benefits: anything that could be skimped on, was. Insane turnover. Throughout my one year I saw at least 5 people get walked out on Friday's without any warning to anyone, which is a considerable percentage of people for how small this company is. I also got the same treatment 3 days before my one year mark. Definite nepotism among management with their choice of marketing director. Lack of direction for existing and new products: everyday there was a new "top priority" and therefore nothing was "completed" on time. Decisions were mostly based off of mimicking top tech and not any actual innovation, customer feedback, or data.

Pros

Our massive patent trove and industry-leading gross margins secures numerous growth opportunities for employees at all levels. Our technology allows customers to access very sustainable solutions on day one without paying a premium and we are growing >30%/year. I decided to take on my role about 12 months ago and I'm delighted to be working with and leading a wonderful team at Intellihot. Check us out at www.intellihot.com

Cons

In my first year on the job as the new CEO replacing the Founder (Sri), due to circumstances related to financial and business focus transformation, I have been limited in the amount of time I have been able to spend getting to know everyone on the Intellihot team as much as I would have liked. The good news is that I will get a chance to rectify that in 2026 and hopefully help more of our employees find ways to make a bigger contribution to our success and be rewarded for such.
