Pros

Fellow patient advocates are a positive, upbeat, and helpful group of people. The only benefit I can imagine at Intellihartx is your coworkers.

Cons

Management does have a god complex, whether they recognize it or not. As stated in a previous review, note that the CEO coerced GlassDoor reviews in a "town hall" meeting, which is why 3 employees were scared into leaving a positive review on the same day. This same meeting, the CEO also told us to tuck our GD undershirts in, and stop looking sloppy. Make no mistake, this is a collection agency. However you try to disguise it. You will be expected to collect money from at least 50% of calls, regardless of their situation (homeless, terminally ill, uninsured, or otherwise). Calls are scripted, must be an average of 3 minutes long, and you must make or take a total of 100 calls per shift. The minimal training Patient Advocates receive encourages emotional intelligence, but this is clearly a numbers game and quantity is much more important than quality.

Pros

Almost fully remote, potential to move up in the company, smaller growing company, fair pay, tenure=generous pto yearly, huge improvements have been made across several departments

Cons

Some clients can be a bit challenging for new hires due to needing to use multiple systems, not a ton of benefits but to be expected for a company this size

Pros

I have been with the company for years and held a variety of positions. It can be incredibly rewarding to work towards a position and be able to achieve it.

Cons

No benefits, challenging work load and occasionally changes happen that you don't necessarily agree with.
