Pros

Great coworkers Free parking Occasional free lunches Pay is decent Training on the job.

Cons

Buckle up, friends. + Abusive upper management: when you start out, they are very kind and offer you a lot of perks (free food, better hours, etc). After you get the hang of things, expect to get yelled at for mistakes that you shouldn't be blamed for or for not doing something the "right" way, even though they never told anyone how they wanted something to be done. If you ever get a promotion, expect 10-20 emails every morning that were sent between 12am-3am and written entirely in CAPS LOCK. + Bounced and late paychecks: this has happened to multiple employees on multiple occasions. There is no direct deposit. One time, employees were guilted into getting their checks one day late and were not compensated for it. The person in charge of signing the checks left the office WITH the checks due to a family emergency that happened to occur at the time that checks are distributed. You're also not allowed to cash your checks. If you do, you get questioned about why you need the money the day you're supposed to get paid and what you need the money for. They ask you to use grace periods and pay your bills late for their sake. + Slow and outdated hardware/software: computers are bought refurbished and crash often. The software used for work has many bugs that make work very inefficient and the bugs never get fixed. + No standard training: Everyone is trained differently which leads to disagreements with each other and mistakes. + Entry-level employees don't last more than a year. Most new hires are fresh out of college or found from Craigslist + Promised raises are not honored. Instead, they offer "bonuses" if you are able to complete an impossible amount of work in an unreasonable time frame. + Constantly understaffed. + Be wary of the president. He is married to the CEO and can be creepy

Pros

Rewarded quickly when you work hard and smart. Been with company just under 2 years and has been easy to move ahead in the company. On the job training with very patient and knowledgeable supervisors that make it a nice place to come to work each day. Very customer / patient care oriented. Also, provides flexibility and support to pursue higher education...a few of us either in nursing school or headed there. Management helps with positive recommendations. Technology for cardiac monitoring is amazing, very proud to be a part of this.

Cons

Work load can vary from hectic to slow, depending on cycles. I've seen newbies not last long if they were hoping just to coast and it does not seem like management will put in same energy into an employee who doesn't have the can do attitude.

Pros

Company is taking care of employees during COVID-19, no layoffs, shout out to them for this! Coworkers are smart hard working group and we are always learning. Most have been with the company for many years. We are watching patients across the country around the clock, it is a mini ICU cardiac telemetry environment. Clinical director is a library of ECG and always working with telemetry staff and our doctors. The mantra is to take care of every patient like they are your family. It is a hard working bunch, but we love what we do. During Covid, felt the need to express how blessed this job is.

Cons

We do a lot of extras scanning and reporting but the accounts don't really know how much work we do to get it right..but usually they are appreciative. In the last year, company launched a new monitor and I think it self-funded and took awhile to take off. It paid to hang in there. We are doing a lot to help patients during the crisis and so its worth it.
