Pros

None. Nothing at all. Thought very hard but still nothing.

Cons

The cons from working on this company can be a very long list. 1) You will be asked to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement on your first day you are hired. The boss will threaten you, saying that if anyone posts a negative comment online, he will know by checking the IP address of the person who posts it. 2) You will be given a big promise for a very bright future, gaining a lot of valuable work experience, along with a big bucket of money if you work hard for this company. But the reality is, none of that is happening except you are working long work day with free OT hours, and a minimum wage/hour on a pay cheque. 3) You are expected to come to work dressing with professional attire and give off your professional skills, but instead you worked like a free labourer, duties including but not limited to: vacuum the floor, watering the plants, wiping tables, dumping garbage, etc. Oh, and also being scolded almost everyday like you are a slave for the company. 4) You will be expected to come to work in the morning, and return to home whenever you finish the work they expected you to finish (whenever they think your work is finished that is). They won't even reasonably compensate you for work you've done, so don't expect they will compensate you for OT hours. Your OT hours are free, guaranteed. 5) They expect you to come volunteer and help out with their extracurricular events they host with their side businesses, and promise you will be compensated for your hours. Guess what? At the end of the day, the boss/manager/accountant/senior designer (whom they are all related) says you were doing it for a good deed and should not be compensated for the time and hours you put in on a statutory holiday. 6) They think you always have too much time on your hands, and thus they don't mind adding a bit of work on top of your current for this current company with duties from their side businesses. They will ask you to help them buy groceries, buy lunches, buy stationary, and other supplies as they want. Don't worry, you won't be compensated for all of these, including your transportation costs. 7) If a client complains, it all boils down to your own responsibility. The boss/manager/accountant/senior designer has nothing to do with it and never will, even though you are the one who has nothing to do with it. Don't worry, they won't forget to scold you. 8) As you work longer in the company, you will start to realize, they will only hire fresh grads and people who are desperately looking to work in companies who will assist with their permanent residency application, or people who have minimal work experience. 9) As you work, you will understand that this is a company where they treat their employees as their family slaves. And, once you realize that, you will realize you need to get out of this company as soon as possible. Even working in McDonald's will guarantee you a better job, better opportunity, and better benefits than being in this company. My advice to the fresh grads, people who are seeking work, don't ever come close to this company. Please don't work, or even bother coming for an interview. If you want to test the waters, it's your choice. But from my humble opinion, this company doesn't deserve you. You deserve to be respected and treated like a person. You deserve to be reasonably compensated for the work you've put in. You deserve to gain valuable work experience from a company who really trains you. Not this kind of treatment like the experiences I've listed above, and I can go on and on about this. People, treat yourself better.

Pros

You will be motivated to seek better job than this.

Cons

First of all, the pay was horrible. We were paid only minimum wage per hour. Second, don't expect training to be provided. The company expect you to be able to handle a huge project overnight. The company did not train us at all. What the management team did was only complaining and scolding all of the staff when we did not "perform like the way they expected" under the circumstances of: no clear deadline given, minimal/no instruction given, no plan details were clearly communicated, and basically we were told to just finish the big project without letting us know what the project really is before we begin (even though we asked multiple times for clarifications and details). Thirdly, be expected to do wear multiple hats and take up multiple tasks/projects from different areas. Keep the minimum pay in mind. Last but not least, this is the worst company I've worked in with the worst management. I know one co-worker were not reimbursed for the gas fees for doing errands for the company. All of us were not paid when working over-time when the company expected to do so. I will not work for this company ever again.

Pros

Zero positives about this company... but I had met some great co-workers while working here.

Cons

- Tells you to treat the company like "family", but management will go out of the way to treat you like garbage. Hypocrites of the highest order. - Zero potential to improve your career if you work here, no room for growth and unrealistic work expectations for paying minimum wage. - Company is cheap and works with even cheaper clients, you are basically slave labour catering to their every whim. - Management will take advantage of you at every opportunity, especially if you are on a work visa/co-op program, they are a VERY shady operation. - Management will also make sure to talk behind your back... they will tell you to your face that you are "not like the others" (your other co-workers), and that you're smarter than them and the "others" are stupid. Except they say the same thing to every employee... nice try.
