Pros
You get what you put in to the job, the amount of success you have depends on how many sales calls you make on a daily basis
Cons
No particular cons on working with IEL, pay structure is great and management works to help you succeed. As with any other freight brokerage, you are on call 24/7 and the industry can be rough.

Touch technology that not a lot of companies have, and have more hands-on experience.
Cons
It’s a family-owned company, so no matter how hard you work or how strong your ideas are, there’s little room to move up unless you’re related to the CEO. (Venture)
The Argument: Hiring and promoting based on "who you know" rather than "what you know" creates operational weak points.
