Pros

None - There are literally none.

Cons

They do not seem to really know anything about the industry they have chosen to be in. Everything is badly managed, understaffed, underpaid all the time. Nothing but lies about growth opportunities and benefits among many other things from the very first meeting during the interview. It actually cost me money to work for these people for a time. Is negative stars a thing? In short there is absolutely nothing to be gained from working for this company. You will not gain a pay rise, there is no opportunity for career growth, there is certainly nothing to learn from them or a "thank you" or "good job" to ever be heard if you need that. If you want to just tread water and be miserable and stressed doing it, then this is the place for you. This is not a place where you will enjoy coming to work each day.

Pros

The staff on hotel property are hardworking, dedicated employees deserving of a stable leadership team who will support them in their roles.

Cons

Compensation & benefits: No insurance options are offered by the company (healthcare, dental, etc.). As General Manager, you receive vacation pay at the same rate as line level employees: 1 week after a year of employment and 2 weeks after 5 years of employment. No vacation time can be rolled over from year to year. Although an annual bonus plan was mentioned as being available to me in my offer letter, I spent 7 months working for the company and never received a copy of it (despite numerous requests). Your ability to succeed in the role of GM will be hampered by your superiors. Their involvement in the successful management of the property is limited to one sided emails full of demands, absurd deadlines and minimal site visits, in which their only accomplishment is the torment and the intimidation of all hotel staff members.Any additional support requested by hotel management is met with anger, insults and very little (being generous) assistance.
