Pros
IDT was a great place while it was privately owned by the founder. Unfortunately he had to bow out due to ill health and the company was sold. (Note Glassdoor currently considers Dr Walder to be the CEO, this is out of date, but I will rate the CEO as if Dr Walder was still there) IDT focused (and still does) on excellent quality product and is renowned throughout the world for this quality. I feel honored to have worked there for over a decade under some amazing managers
Cons
Quite a few of the senior and exec managment have retired. The transition to the new order has been rocky. Some of the managerial appointments have not been good. The transition was not handled well. Lots of promises regarding retention and personal career development that were repeatedly made by a succession of senior Execs were then not kept. There are parts of the company now including, I hear, quite a few sales reps that are not happy.
