Pros
Autonomy, vehicle reimbursement, and work/life balance.
Cons
Low base pay compared to others in the industry, constant realignments that will cost you dearly. It will not matter whether you worked with a Provider for years, they will reassign them to someone else and tell you to basically deal with it. By doing so all the hard work you put in gets taken away on top of which you lose all the bonus you earned by having them reassigned. Also, you work hard but the support team in their Patient Services is horrid and cannot get anything done right. An outside pharmacy will get something approved and be ready to send out while you're still playing a game of back and forth with PSC. Most of the time the medication gets denied through insurance and you have to explain that to the doctor. Very frustrating for the doctor's office with all the back and forth as well.
