Pros

Unlimited PTO that is encouraged. Cost of living adjustments are granted in salary but expect no more than 2%. Tonnes of learning experience in the Commercial and Personal Insurance space. Handled the COVID pandemic very well and was very open throughout the whole process. Upper management believes in the benefits and value of WFH. Work Life balance is great. Base salary is competitive to make up for lack of equity and poor bonus plan.

Cons

Look at Glassdoor Reviews on the Week of 20th October 2021 - Mostly VPs and higher management leaving reviews on Glassdoor in a seemingly organized manner. Red flag! Promotions are rare in this company. Many SDE who actually care about making an impact have left for Big Tech because learning opportunities are pretty limited after 3 years. Seniors are hired outside the company, rather than through rank and file. No equity in company or good bonus plan. 2.5% match for 401k. Expensive health insurance options. Extremely poor diversity and inclusion. If you are non-white , non-east/south Asian, you will feel out of place. Avoid!

Pros

Relaxed work and friendly coworkers

Cons

Low pay. No clear path for advancement. Leadership is inconsistent. Over committed to validating their huge investment in AI. CEO feels aloof and entirely disconnected from every other employee.
