Pros

Potential for high earning in short time. Management was usually easy to deal with. Flexible hours. With the right time Management i could work 1 week on 1 week off and still bring home like 3k for 2 week paycheck.

Cons

Use of own vehicle and supplies. Which can have a costly start if not already available. Need a car, camera (camera phone), computer and a phone w/ GPS and probably unlimited data. As well as a camera pole (think giant selfie stick)

Pros

You make your own schedule from Monday through Saturday - based on Homeowner reasonable time frame of 8am -5pm. No actual boss or micro managing no one bothering you while you work. Meet and see a lot of awesome sights, homes, and people.

Cons

Pay not so great for the hardships such as in the elimates of heat cold etc. Mainly outside in the field work which also consists of a daily internal input process daily for a QA procesing to submit to the Home Owners insurance company for review. So often even though contacted several times about my coming out to process the exterior photos of the home people would forget and be very angry at me as I am trespassing in their eyes. As with most jobs these days communication breakdown can be very damning if you will to how the job gets processed. Struggles with the communication between you , the insured , the insurance agent is often a bit time consuming and the job is based on the quality of time consumption and managing it as your own manager to say.
