They'll say I'm a disgruntled ex-employee (just like they told me the bad reviews were from) - Designer Insivia Employee Review

Pros

Always something new to create, good coworkers (just don't get too attached, quick turnover), and fun work culture.

Cons

If you work a role that I had you will be swamped day in, day out, with no help. When you bring this up you will be ignored, and told that you are not the only one doing this job, that there are several people capable of doing it - but you'll be doing it alone. Feedback is nonexistent, at least constructive feedback isn't. Instead of being given the feedback I would be ghosted, and find out that the CEO "didn't like it", and redid it himself. The CEO is way too involved and throws himself into projects late into the process which pushes the process back. In the time I spent on the team, no one was fired but quit or was let go of, and immediately cut off from the team within minutes. They keep the staffing under 50 people so they do not have to keep up with severance laws.

Pros

They do things the right way, buy in, contribute and push yourself. You will be rewarded if you do, you will be held accountable if you don't. Great opportunity if you get the chance.

Cons

It is 100% remote, there are a lot of meetings (maybe less now) to help stay on track. Could be difficult to catch your stride if you're not 100% committed to the job and your profession. If you're good and you work hard you'll do well -- if not, your tenure will be short.

Pros

You learn some cool software to show off

Cons

Pretty horrible working environment, plagued with high turnover. HR is a joke (CEO's wife, who is always moody and disrespectful - she treats employees like slaves and sugar coats talk with toxic positivity). Not an authentic place. Everyone wears a mask, don't expect to make friends. Your coworkers are competitors. Andy fires employees on an impulse to show that he is in charge. Kind of a joke of a working environment.
